I'm a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) and personal trainer (ACSM-CPT), but let me assure you, I'm trying to juggle and balance all the elements of healthy living in my busy life just like you. Sometimes it's really tough. Do you agree? Well I'm here to help.

As a nutritionist and trainer focused on real life—not perfection—I’m here to help you find what works for you. Here’s a quick look at my philosophy and what you'll see across my content:
Make Healthy Easy
Notice I didn’t say healthy is easy. I believe healthy living becomes easier when we take a personalized approach—planning and implementing strategies that fit your unique lifestyle. Look for the hashtag #MakeHealthyEasy on Twitter and Instagram for tips, recipes, and inspiration. I’ve also created a collaborative Pinterest board filled with ideas to help you simplify wellness. One Size Does Not Fit All
My job isn’t to get you to eat like me—it’s to help you discover the rhythm and style of eating that supports your goals. Personalization is at the core of my nutrition counseling approach.
Whole Foods First, Convenience When You Need It
I believe a strong foundation comes from eating more whole, less-processed foods. But real life calls for balance, and there are plenty of smart, convenient (yes, even processed!) options that can make healthy living more doable. I’m always testing new products, tools, and services—and sharing honest reviews to help you make informed choices.
Get Fit (Your Way)
While I genuinely think fitness is fun, I know that’s not everyone's experience. Regardless of your starting point or enthusiasm level, I’ll encourage you to move your body in ways that feel good. Expect workout ideas (both simple and advanced), playlists, equipment and apparel reviews, and the kind of motivation that meets you where you are.
Cook and Eat at Home—Together
One of the most powerful things you can do for your health? Cook and eat with the people you love. I truly believe that shared meals can change lives. I’m always working on approachable, nourishing recipes to help make that happen in your home—just like it does in mine.
Enjoy Food
I love food—and not just the eating part. I’m fascinated by where food comes from, how it’s made, and the people behind it. Whether it’s a beautifully crafted dish or something incredibly simple, I believe everyone deserves moments of true enjoyment around food—especially when shared with others.
Be Real
Life isn’t perfect, and I’m not either. I share the highs and the struggles—because real stories encourage real growth. Some of my content will be polished and styled, and some will be a quick snap of what’s actually happening in my kitchen. I’ll be honest when something doesn’t work for me, and I invite you to do the same. Being real creates freedom, and my hope is that you’ll feel safe and supported enough to do that right here.

- I’m a proud native Floridian (yes, we really do exist!).
- I’ve been blogging since 2007—back when blogging wasn’t cool and no one really knew it could be a business. My first blog, Fresh Food Perspectives, is now archived, but this current site—launched in 2014—builds on years of experience and passion for sharing.
- I’m married to an amazing man, affectionately known as Coach, who’s a head high school football coach. We have two wild and wonderful boys, and our family life often shows up in my content.
- I use the hashtag #IamTamiTaylor on Instagram to share our football life and reflections as a coach’s wife. I’m passionate about encouraging other women in similar roles and write about it in my Married to Football series.
