Using NEW Project Life Ledger Cards

August 27, 2013 3 Comments Holly & Nat

I’m excited to show you how I’m using a brand new Project Life product today – Ledger Cards! These just arrived to Amazon over the weekend and they are a great addition to any Project Life albums or kits you’re already using!

The packs of Ledger Cards come in 4×6 and 3×4 – each with 100 cards per box (10 different designs in each box, too!) They are so versatile and are great to have on hand when you need to jot something down for your pages but don’t have time to get out all your supplies! I have loved keeping this box out for those moments! (See end of post for details on where to purchase.)

My first idea is one that maybe only makes sense to me. 😉 My favorite place to go with my kids (well, besides Disneyland…so I should say my favorite free place) is the Library! We go at least once a week and usually check out the max amount they allow. While my kids are little, we get everything in the E (Easy/Kids) section, which means books are only sorted by authors last name.

So in order to remember where to find our favorites again, I punched 13 Ledger Cards and put them on a ring with each letter of the alphabet (front and back.) Now we can find “Rattley Bumpa” (my son’s favorite) easily without having to look it up on the computer or phone each time! Before we return our old books, I ask the kids which were there favorites and write a couple in our little book. It’s easy to throw in my purse or Library bag so I always have it with me!

Ledger Cards are easy to dress up if you want to add a little color. Washi tape, stamps, and stickers would all work well! It’s hard to see, but this card has who, what, where, when, and why prompts. This is one of my favorites!

Another design I love that comes in the pack is this ruled card. It immediately reminded me of the books we wrote in as kids to practice handwriting! Look how easy it was to get a quick handwriting sample from my daughter for her childhood album:

Eek! After I wrote this post I realized the cards had already sold out over the weekend! But not to worry, Becky mentioned on her FB page that shipments come in waves and they should be restocked soon. Here are the links just in case, and I will keep you posted when they come back in stock!

If you want to see more details of each card or just can’t wait to get your hands on them, you can purchase the digital version HERE!

Stay tuned for a BIG Project Life product reveal NEXT WEEK! I have a feeling you’re going to love it!
