{Uncle Sam Hat} and 4th of July Printables!

June 20, 2012 14 Comments Holly & Nat

How cute is this Uncle Sam hat?? I died when my friend Adrienne {Free Time Frolics} first showed it to me… She has a pattern to make these cute fabric hats, and being the amazing seamstress (and great friend) she is, she offered to make me one!

She gave me the plain red-and-white striped hat, and I got to gussy it up a little for the 4th of July! I made a paper medallion for the front of the hat, and designed the {4th} tag to attach to the center. These circle tags are perfect for a 2″ punch, and would be a festive addition to any patriotic celebration:

I smile every time I see this hat now. Here is a look at the front and back views:
The ribbons on the back are from a hair bow I bought in the Target Dollar Spot!
Now I have to show it to you on my adorable model 🙂
Too cute!
Have you made anything festive for the 4th yet? For some fun ideas, take a look at our Celebrate the 4th Pinterest board. Happy Wednesday!

Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful freedom tags. I tried accessing many and yours were the only ones that I could actually “find”. I will use these as tags on chocolate covered pretzels for a musical performance in July. Thanks again.
