Last week, I shared some tips for throwing a last-minute party. I’m back today to share some more pics and tips from the fun Tea Party Birthday we had for my niece!
One important tip for throwing parties for kids it to Keep it Simple.
I had a few things prepared to keep the kids busy while we got out the food. This could not be any easier, but they LOVED it! I bought some pink $1 Foamies crowns (and blue for the boy) and a pack of glittery star stickers. They decorated the crowns, put them on and then went on to the cups, table, and everything else in sight!
Make it a Special Occasion!
Once I got excited about the party, so did my kids. I let Bella help with the decorating – she did the glitter flags on the straws, set the table, and help choose the food. Putting everyday snacks into fun containers always makes them more special!
Does anyone else run around like a crazy person trying to get the house ready when you know company is coming (or is it just me?) I always check the bathrooms first! One thing I don’t have to worry about anymore is whether our hand towels are clean. I just made sure we had a box of Kleenex Hand Towels out for the guests to use and toss! I had a lot more peace of mind knowing that we weren’t sharing out Toddler-Tea-Party germs.
Kleenex Hand Towels are great for summer parties and entertaining because they provide one clean, fresh, dry towel every time guests wash and dry their hands in the bathroom. Single-use bathroom towels help reduce the spread of germs as compared to re-usable towels (you know how gross those can get!)
