This would be so fun for a center at your child’s class Halloween party! Grab a few $1 kits, make a double batch of playdough and let the kids at it! Here are some of the faces we made:
Here is my favorite Playdough recipe:
2 cups flour
1 cup salt
1/2 cup cornstarch
1 Tbs vegetable oil
1 Tbs alum (or cream of tartar)
2 cups water
In a heavy saucepan mix together flour, salt and cornstarch. In another bowl combine water, oil and alum and stir well. Pour liquid over dry ingredients and stir well. Turn on medium heat and continue to stir and cook until mixture is very thick. Dump out onto an oiled surface and cool until it can be handled. Knead and add food coloring if desired. Store in ziploc bags. Add a few drops of water and oil and knead if it dries out.
What are some of your favorite games or activities for your really little ones? Don’t forget about this fun Preschooler game – my kids love it!
