“Think of the happiest things, it’s the same as having wings!” Peter Pan totally knew what he was talking about when he taught those kids how to fly! We’re so excited to tell you about a little things that has been helping us have more of those happy thought. It’s called The Clicker. It’s an idea developed by singer-songwriter Hilary Weeks. Intrigued? So was I! Keep reading!
As soon as I got my fun lime green clicker out of the box, my kids wanted to know what it was. They have so much fun “clicking” that I’m probably going to have to get them their own! One of our kids carried it around all day, giving himself “clicks” for everything good. He said, “I love myself! That is worth 30 clicks!”
The Clicker Kits make great stocking stuffers, neighbor gifts, teacher’s Christmas gifts. Also, clicking is a great way to prepare for Thanksgiving. Last November Hilary’s family placed a community clicker in the kitchen. They clicked over 5,000 times for things they were grateful for! Clicking is a great way to achieve New Year’s resolutions too!
I use mine to get back on track when I start down that path of negative thinking. It really has helped me change my thoughts and in turn my interactions with my family.
Hilary’s website, www.billionclicks.org is a great resource for more ideas, quotes from clickers, and a way to “log” your clicks – and help them reach the goal of ONE BILLION CLICKS! Can you imagine that much positivity floating out there in the atmosphere? It gives me goosebumps just thinking about it!

I LOVE this idea. I actually just got a clicker recently, and when i use it i notice a HUGE difference in my day. After reading this post i am reminded that i need to go get my clicker and use it. I’ve been feeling down. Oh, and i LOVE that your kid walked around giving himself clicks for being good, and Loving himself. TOO Cute. Love you girls. Thanks for doing this blog, and even though i rarely comment, i love reading it. 🙂 Just wanted to tell you girls.
What a great idea. I wonder if my teen would use it.
