I love changing out my decor for the seasons, but this year I am trying to keep things simple. I try to create a few accessories or artwork to update the main spaces in my home, mostly using materials I have on hand. This Spring pom pom wreath is so easy to make!
It took about 30 minutes to create this wreath, start to finish. And it really looks fresh and fun in my space!
To make this wreath, you’ll need:
- small grapevine wreath (this one was $3 in the Target Dollar section, and already came painted this cute blue!)
- yarn in assorted colors
- pom pom makers
- scissors
- hot glue
I got all of my yarn at Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft, and also the pom pom makers which come in packs of 2 in different sizes. I used the largest size for the white pom pom, and the others were made with the small and medium size pom pom makers.
One tip when wrapping your yarn around the pom pom makers… make sure to wrap several layers to get a full, fluffy pom pom! When all the pom poms are done, arrange them on your wreath and hot glue them in place. That’s it!
I love it!
Pom poms make everything better, right? Here’s another favorite pom pom project:
It’s kind of addicting making pom poms. I want to add them to everything in my house! My kids love making them too. Have you tried it yet?

So pretty! I love the color of the wreath!
This is such a cute idea! I love the simplicity of the pom poms, but the mix of colors speak louder for this project.
Would love if you shared this at our Yarn Fanatic Party – http://eyeloveknots.blogspot.com/2015/05/yarn-fanatic-party-35-string-theory.html.
Pom Pom’s really do make everything better! I actually did a project this week that involved removing pom poms- it felt very wrong, but worked out ok! I think I need to balance the universe by adding pom poms somewhere else asap!
Pom poms are always festive! Thanks for posting. Hello from the Creative Collection.
