Spring Mantel

March 20, 2012 15 Comments Holly & Nat

Thanks to my friend Emily, I finally got my Spring Mantel put together last night. It is really simple, I just used things I had in my house and put them together to create a “Robin’s Egg Blue” Spring vignette.

One of my favorite touches is the burlap ribbon I weaved through the tray, with a whimsical little “spring” on it…

I also love this “grass” basket I picked up at Downeast Home a few weeks ago:
The blue basket used to be in my little girl’s room, but has since been collecting dust in my “stash” closet 🙂 I love the little yellow flowers peeking out of the top.
I’m linking up at Layla’s Spring Mantel party today!

It’s so pretty Holly!! I love how everything looks against the bright blue wall! I really like that pretty blue patterned book over on the far right too. Did you cover that? Meantioned you in my post today:) Thanks again for the sweet surprise before my trip! Have you read the HGTV magazine yet? I loved it!! I finished it on our way to Florida so I left it with my sis so she could read it to. It had so many great tips in it! And way less ads than a lot of magazines, I thought. I want to get a subscription now! Gotta wait though for a holiday to come up…already told Rob I want fabric for Mother’s Day and our anniversary so can’t use those two…:)

I can’t believe I never came by and told you how much I love your mantel!! Oh my, I love getting your posts in my email inbox, but boy, it makes me a bad commenter. But, I ooohed and ahhhed when I saw it!! I can’t believe you did that in the middle of a stressful project week. You go! 🙂
