Last week I showed how I’m using one of the new Project Life Theme packs – School. You can see the layouts HERE. I can’t wait to show you another fabulous theme pack – and it’s for one of my very favorite holidays – Halloween!
The thing I am loving about the smaller theme packs of cards is that they are not overwhelming! You can make a few layouts, or like I am – a mini album! I’m going to use this great Midnight Mini Album to hold all our Halloween pictures from the past several years! It will make it so easy to just slip in 3 or 4 pictures from this year after the Trick-or-Treating is over!
Here is a sneak peek of my album! Next week I’ll show you the completed album and some tips on getting it done quickly and simply.
If you’re new to Saturday Share – or Project Life – let me catch you up really quick. Each week, this fun group of bloggers will be sharing Project Life inspiration as well as a linky party. We want to see what you’re up to and feature you – so PLEASE spread the word to all your PL-lovin’ friends!

Last year my kiddos all went as superheroes. They were such fun costumes to make!
My daughter was a corpse bride.
I think it was the year my oldest by 5 years was Mario and bro (1 at the time) was Baby Mario. Too Cute!!
My son was a Ninja every year!
Snow white on my cute little 3 year old.
I think my favorite was when I was 10 and I was a witch. My Aunt worked at the local college’s drama department and they did the full witches makeup on me–green face, extra nose, and even a wart! I need to find those pictures of me and scrap them 🙂
My son was Superman and my daughter was Wonder Woman last year. They were adorable!
Two years ago my daughter was tinkerbell and I was Peter Pan. Last year she was Merida and I was her mother. This year she is going to be Sully and I’m going to be Boo. If say her favorite so far would be this year. She just turned 5!

My daughter wants to be a broken doll… She comes up with the most random things.
When the whole family was the wizard of oz!
In Singapore we do not celebrate Halloween at home, only restaurant and pub. This year we are having Halloween party at home and my girls going to dressed up 1st as witch and cat! Thanks for the chance, love to win so I can it for my PL.
I’m thinking my owl costume
I’m making for this year will
be the best!
Carla from Utah
Favorite costume is lamb costume my mom made for my girls. They each have worn it and we’re so cute!
My favorite costume was when I went as the ace of hearts.
A pinata!
My favorite costume is my son’s first, a shark. His baby chunky legs sticking out were adorable.I would LOVE to win this kit, thanks for the chance. 🙂
It’s tough to choose my favorite costumes. It would be between the year my son was Batman and his sister Robin, or the year he was Peter Pan and she was Tinkerbell, or the year when my youngest daughter was only 3 weeks old and they all went as M&Ms (Red, Green and Orange)!
I love this! I can’t wait till my project life comes!
My boys favorite costume so far was when I made them Incredible’s costumes. My 3 year old was Dash, and the one year old was baby Jack-Jack.
My favorite custome was the year (actually she wore it 2 years because she liked it so much) she dressed up as Pluto.
My favorite was Minnie Mouse that I made for my daughter – so much fun to so and she looked so cute.
Last few years have been ..unique…costumes…which my boys LOVED! They choose to be different ‘items’…Oreo cookie box (Rayo’s), a ketchup bottle (won first place, and in the newspaper) and McD’s drink cup! Their choices, and they helped the whole way to make them…it’s been fun! I hope my DD likes to do things like that in the future!
My “kids” are all adults now, but I think I loved the clown costume that my mother made for them. And since that time, it was passed down to my grandchildren. She also made coordinating clown costumes for my husband and myself.
My favorite Halloween costume for my kids so far has been when I made my son into a leaf pile when he was 2. I took a plain sweat shirt and sweat pants and covered both pieces with fake leaves. My son carried a little plastic rake. Got so many compliments on that costume!
My favorite Halloween costume was a leopard. So cute!
My daughter was a dragon- loved her facepaint that year!
My favorite costumes for my girls was when they were butterflies at almost a year old. They kept trying to eat each other antennae, it was too cute for words. Especially b/c these two babies were born three months premature and I didn’t expect to get to enjoy that particular moment. For my son, it was a dragon costume at age of two. He walked around in the neighborhood with this long spiky tale and had the most adorable face in the head piece. Now he just wants to dress up as something scary each year, the scarier the better, lol.
He’s not old enough to tell us yet, but my favorite was his first when I dressed him as a tootsie roll
One of my daughters went as a Police Woman, it was precious!
Vampire ^_^
I honestly can’t pick just one, I love to make costumes and it’s fun to fix and match them to create something unique and funny.
I loved helping my mom make my costumes when I was a kid. My favorite was an Ace of hearts playing card.
My son’s favorite costume was Master Cheif from Halo that was made out of craft foam that we bought on ebay! He wanted to sleep in it he loved it so much!
Lisa K.
My favorite was both of my kids were a cute little frog for their first year!!!
when my daughter was 10 months old she went as raggedy ann. my mother in law made the costume and it was the cutest thing i had ever seen!
My husband and I went as a ghost and a ghost buster! 🙂
My son loved his Max wolf costume
My daughter was Ariel and my son was a pirate.
My son’s first Halloween he was a monkey but he hated the headpiece. I don’t have any good shots of him wearing it, but lots of shots of him looking sweaty after he yanked if off finally. Still makes me laugh!
My son loved his jack-o-lantern costume. He wore it 2 years in a row and would have worn it this year, if it still fit him. 🙂
We’ve had a few favorites: Eeyore and a Jedi. My favorite growing up was a mad scientist.
My favorite by far has been Cleopatra!!!!
A couple of years ago, all 4 kids and I dressed up as Gryffindors! 🙂 While we were walking around trick or treating, a few people actually came up to us and asked us for a photo opp!
All she wants to be is a witch.
I really want to get this mini album..my question is does it come with the pages inside or do you have to buy them separately? I cant find these insert pages anywhere. Can you email me and let me know melissaAvaldez@gmail.com
