Our cute friend at {5 Days 5 Ways}…

May 22, 2012 34 Comments Holly & Nat

is having TWIN GIRLS!! {Back to that in a sec…} Do you know Abbie? Isn’t she the cutest ever? She asked us to guest post for us today, and we are excited to share this “Try-It Tuesday” tutorial:

Go check it out {and then come back to help us out with a surprise gift for Abbie!} As a little thanks for having us today, we are making some custom “marker” onesies for her twin girls 🙂 I have several ideas for fun words or designs that would be perfect for twins, but I want to know what YOU think…

Leave a comment on this post with your idea for the twins’ onesies! We’ll compile a few of our favorites, and then have people vote on the top 3. There will be something fun for the winner 🙂 And of course, Abbie’s darling babies may be seen wearing your idea!
Don’t be shy, you KNOW you guys are super creative and we want to hear what you think 🙂

Maybe “Two Peas in a pod” One onesie has the peas and the other the pod!

“Fit-tastic” on one with some hand weights, and the other could say “Fun-fabulous” with a pair of sunglasses or something like that.

Super cute post over at 5D5W! What about “Buy One” and “Get One Free” written on some price tag-looking designs & then a bow on the tag (clear as mud? makes perfect sense in my head 🙂 ….kinda goes with Abbie’s thrifting ways 🙂

Twinkies or Hostess cupcakes (since they come in two packs)! They could each have a picture of one, and then underneath “two” on one and “sweet” on the other!

What about a sweet little monkey face with the word “See” underneath on one and another sweet little monkey face with the word “Do” underneath on the other? Get it? Monkey See, Monkey Do!

I love Abbie!! If you ever come to Texas, I’ll drive you out to her neck of the woods for a Texas blog party!!

As for ideas. Hmm. The only one I could think of was Sugar- Spice. But, Tiffany beat me to that one. Gah, where are my creative juices today??

Maybe one could say “Sugar & Spice” and the other could say “Everything Nice”? I don’t know!! I’m totally drawing a blank.

Oh, maybe you could make three shirts- one for Della that says “Little Sis” and then one for the first born twin that says “Littler Sis” and then one for the last born twin that says “Littlest Sis”?? Ha. I’m really reaching now.

Cute Berry Sweet shirt, by the way!! Is that Anna?? Her hair is longer than I remember! SO stinkin’ cute. Love the gladiator sandals 🙂

How about something like…..”My other half make me whole”…then have arrows pointing to each one…does that make sense?

    Or

numbers…..Like Sister #1 for the big sister, then Sister #.5 for each of the twins

    or

Cutie and Patootie (one for each)

….this was fun to think of and play along! COngrats to the family!

Oooh! Thought of another one! Remember those “Best Friends” heart necklaces everyone used to have that were two sides of a heart with a jagged line down the center and each friend kept a half? One could be the “best” side of the heart and the other could be the “friends” side of the heart.

Just popping over from Abbie’s. I was thinking maybe “Sugar” (with a sweet looking cupcake – esp. as Abbie just made 390-ish of them!) and “Spice” (with some cute looking star annise or chillies or something).

Or a pic of a tulip (two lips) on each one…

I really like the ones with the weiner dog…1/2 of the dog on one…the other half on the other. Or 1 of 2 and 2 of 2.
