Have you been following our new series, obSISsed? Every month we tell you about a few things we’re currently obsessed with. Get it? To check out our past posts, click HERE! Today I (Nat) have an obSISsed post inspired by the fun weekend we had at SNAP conference 2015!
McKenzie told me about this show a week or so before SNAP and it is hysterical! I think it’s especially funny if you grew up in the 90’s like Kimmy. 😉 It’s a Netflix Original Series, so you can only find it there! Have you seen it?
My favorite part of the awesome SNAP swag was from Woven Pear. If you haven’t heard of this fun brand, go fix that RIGHT NOW. Who says cute socks are just for kids? Woven Pear has fun and funky designs and a pair or two would make a great gift for Mother’s Day! I secretly coveted this pair with, yup, lawn gnomes! Follow them on instagram @wovenpear.
Plush Jimmy was the unsung hero of SNAP! He was a roommate gift from McKenzie via Passive Juice Motel. We started taking him around the conference and snapping photos of him doing different things, and it was a hit! After several fan requests, Plush Jimmy now has his own account!
A song from one of our favorite movie-turned-musicals, Thoroughly Modern Millie,
was stuck in our heads ALL WEEKEND. I blame Holly! 😉 “Jimmy, Oh Jimmy….”
This was our 4th year at SNAP, and by now we know that the time spent after classes chatting in the hotel room is just as valuable as the rest of the conference! We loved hanging out until way past our bedtime with some of our best blogging friends and laughing together. This Nonsense Karaoke clip was watched at least 10 times!
By far, the biggest blessing that has come from this blogging adventure is the friends we have made. These girls are such a big part of my life, and even though we all live apart, when we get together it’s like no time has passed at all. My sis, Crystal (A Pumpkin And A Princess) and McKenzie (Girl Loves Glam) are the most happy, uplifting people to be around. I’m one lucky girl! It was so fun to meet and get to know Tara this year, too. Thanks for being the best roomies ever! We had lots of laughs, late nights (and early mornings), long talks and and even some boy-band karaoke. The last night I was there we got to visit Temple Square and see the Salt Lake Temple. It was my favorite part of the whole weekend. I love you girls! Can’t wait for SNAP 2016!
