My Favorite Things: Gift Idea + Printable

January 11, 2013 16 Comments Holly & Nat

Last night I went to a “Favorite Things” party with some of my favorite people… our Idaho Bloggers Guild! We each brought 3 gifts, and drew names to find out who would be getting each gift. We all went home with three packages of each other’s favorite things! Here are the gifts I brought:
My gift included: 1. Mentha Lip Tint {from Bath & Body} 2. Southwestern inspired bracelet {from Downeast Outfitters} 3. White & gold bakers twine {from Target’s Dollar Spot!}
I had fun packaging them up in bags I made from wrapping paper, gold glitter ribbon, and these cute tags 🙂
I created this set of printable tags a few months ago and now I’m sharing them with you guys! Click through to download the tags and get more ideas for a Favorite Things gift…

Even if you aren’t going to one of these fun parties, it’s an easy gift idea for birthdays too! This summer I put together a gift of some of my favorite things for a friend:

I wanted to create some cute packaging to go along with the theme… so here is my brown paper package, tied up with string:

I didn’t have any tissue paper on hand that I really liked, so I created my own ruffled gift bag with a strip of scrap fabric. I adore how it turned out! I may start doing this to all my gift bags 🙂

I just ripped a 2″ strip of fabric and gathered it around the inside rim of the bag. I used hot glue to keep the ruffles and pleats in place, and 2 minutes later I had an adorable custom gift bag!

Complete with one of the black & white tags printed on kraft cardstock:

    This is such a fun idea. I love the choices you made for the “favorite” things too…the lip gloss is one of my favorite things for sure.

    This is such a cool idea. My boss did this for Christmas. She gave us a basket full of her favorite things including lotions, body scrubs, a fluffy blanket, coffee, grinder, tons of stuff. It was really sweet and let us get to know her a little better. Give an Experience Gift across Oz and NZ with FreemanX Gifts
