Last weekend you helped us choose our Christmas cards on Instagram and we’re excited to show off what you chose! Both of us had two designs that were really close – but here are the final winners! We chose Minted for our Christmas card printing this year because of their awesome designs and really good quality.
Holly’s card features Minted’s signature gold foil. It is SO pretty in person! I love how the text matches Anna’s cute green sweater! Most Minted cards have an option to change the color of text or customize other elements of the design!
Here is a look at the front and back of Holly’s card. Isn’t it gorgeous? Oh, these pictures of her beautiful family make me miss her so much! Even though I’ve seen what it looks like, I can’t wait to have her card in my hand so I can hang it up and show it off. 🙂
Now I (Nat) will share the card design you chose for me. I was secretly hoping you guys would vote for this card because I am so in love with it! This style from Minted is called a Booklette (you can see all the designs here) because it’s a little book with 6 pages (12 front and back) you can fill up with photos, text, highlights of the year and more. I love the detail of the tiny gold staples to hold it together.
We did a really quick (I mean really because we were standing in deep snow) mini session with a local photographer up in the mountains near our house. Since we had cute individual shots of each kid, I really wanted to show those off! Here is a sample of what we included inside the books:
Did you know you can also make Ornaments instead of traditional cards? These were a hit last year – and I saved one for each kid to keep with the ornaments they will take with them when they leave home (which is a LONG way away, haha!) The grandparents especially loved having these to hang on the tree.
Okay, now that you’ve seen how many fun options you have, LISTEN UP! You STILL have time to get cards out this year! You have to order by tomorrow for the deal below, but you can check out this Delivery Estimator for more options.
I love the different formats Minted features for cards – whether they are for Christmas, New Years, Wedding or Baby announcements! Look how beautiful our baby announcements for Miss Kate turned out. They were printed on TripleThick paper and it is stunning!
If you haven’t done Christmas cards this year, how about sending a New Year’s Card? I know I would love to get a photo and update from a friend any time of the year. Here are some of our favorite designs!
We hope you all have a very merry Christmas!
We’ll be posting throughout the week and then taking a few weeks off to spend with our families.
