Make-A-Face Pumpkin Halloween Party Favors

September 14, 2012 15 Comments Holly & Nat

Halloween is a great time for parties! Whether it’s for kids or adults, these Make-A-Face Pumpkin Bottles are an easy idea for your next party’s decor. Using a dry-erase marker makes them kid-friendly and they double as fun Halloween party favors, too!
We shared this idea over at the fantastic Spooktacular September series a few weeks ago. We love eighteen25 and it’s been so fun to see new Halloween ideas each day.

We have kids, and they love anything that involves markers and sugar… haha! These party drinks will be a hit!

Here’s what you’ll need:
Orange pop bottles {we love these old-fashioned glass bottles, but they have plastic ones for really little kids too!}
For your party set-up, have a pop bottle at each place setting and put a bowl of markers in the middle of the table.
Everyone will enjoy customizing their own “pumpkin face” drink!
If you would rather send them home as a party favor, just tie the marker on with some ribbon:
We can’t wait to start planning some Halloween parties! What are your favorite Halloween traditions?
find us here:

We love linking up to these parties:

    does the marker come off on your hands? Would permanent markers work better? thanks.

    Love this idea! How fun AND easy, too. Once you’ve emptied the bottle, you can turn it into a Soda Bottle Pumpkin like I did here: http://organized31.blogspot.com/2012/09/soda-bottle-pumpkins.html. The best of party fun and then repurposing.

    Absolutely awesome idea! My weekly linky party–One Creative Weekend–has gone spooky this week in honor of my thirteenth party. If you haven’t already, I hope you’ll visit “One Creative Weekend” on OneCreativeMommy.com (open every Fri-Wed) and link up this idea and anything else you’d like to share. (You can include non-Halloween posts as well, but feel free to link up as many Halloween-themed posts as you like.) There are two categories—one for Halloween and one for everything else.

    Love these and love that you call them pop bottles vs soda bottles! I’m from Buffalo, NY originally and living in Florida everyone says it wrong…Its pop, people! 🙂 haha.
