Make these glitter balloons with a Halloween twist for your Halloween party this fall! Our glitter-dipped balloon tutorial is one of our most popular posts and we’ve created several different versions for holidays. These Halloween balloons are made with spider confetti, glitter, and mini googly eyes!
One of my favorite ways to decorate for parties is to use balloons! They are easy to find, inexpensive, and come in every color imaginable. I like to go to my local party store and pick up a few latex balloons in a variety of colors, then I blow them up with air instead of helium because they last longer and still look great! My favorite balloon decoration to create is these glitter-dipped balloons.
Ever since I first created them for my daughter’s princess party, I have really loved coming up with different versions! I had so much fun making these Halloween Glitter-dipped balloons!

With the Halloween balloons I used some Halloween confetti from the party store, along with some other chunky glitter I had in my stash.
I had to pick out the spiders so I could use them separately, and I added them on to the balloons after I applied the glitter to the base of the balloon. The first balloon I created was a silver chrome balloon with silver glitter and spiders.
Then I made a monster version with a black balloon and purple chunky glitter, and the final addition… monster googly eyes!
The last balloon is a spiderweb version! I added fine white glitter, more of the small black spiders, and then after it dried I added some fake spiderweb and stretched it over the balloon. I love how it turned out.
These are a really fun afternoon project! Just have a big posterboard on hand to keep the mess to a minimum 🙂
We would love it if you’d pin this project for later!
