A few weeks ago, I posted some Emoji valentine printables. I am using these for my boys’ class valentines this year, so I put together a few ideas for treats that you could give out with the cards. I also created a new pdf with the heart face emoji that you can use as round tags! I think they turned out so cute!
I know everyone is in to “non-candy” valentines this year, but I feel like candy is something that my kids don’t get very often at home, so I am happy to let them have treats on special occasions. The little cheap toys always get thrown in the trash anyway, but with candy I know it will get eaten and enjoyed. (And I won’t have to sneak anything into the trash when they aren’t looking!)
Here are some of the treats I’m using:
“You Make Me Laugh Valentine” – Laffy Taffy ropes or mini Laffy Taffy
“Hugs & Kisses” – Hersheys Hugs or Kisses, or both! (I am still hoarding these candy cane kisses from Christmas)
“You Caught Me Valentine” – Swedish fish
Round heart face emoji tags (perfect for round mint containers)
My kids love these sour mints, so I thought I would add a cute heart face tag to fit the front. I punched them out with my 3″ craft punch, then added some heart confetti from Target One Spot for the eyes.
I also thought it would be cute to use just the emoji face with some chocolate candy hearts as the eyes for a valentine.
The Reese’s Peanut Butter hearts are perfect!
