There is something about putting yummy stuff on a skewer stick that I love. Shish kebabs? My favorite way to grill in the summer. Well, I decided to take that concept to the sweet treats we love most at this time of year… Easter Peeps! Presenting my Easter Marshmallow Pops…
How fun are these?? I had a blast making these marshmallow pops with my daughter this weekend. Any kind of sugar-related activity is a hit with her! Here’s what you’ll need to get started:
- An assortment of Peeps marshmallows
- Jumbo marshmallows (I used regular and strawberry)
- Sweet Mallows marshmallow twists
- Wilton lollipop sticks (11.75″ size)
- Wilton pretzel bags
- Assorted sprinkles
- White chocolate chips
We started by making some dipped marshmallows. I melted about 1/2 a cup of white chocolate chips in the microwave for 60 seconds. Stir the chocolate until smooth, dip the end of your marshmallow in the chocolate and coat it well. Then go to town with your favorite sprinkles!
Once the marshmallows are ready, gather the rest of your supplies. We created a pattern alternating the Peeps, dipped marshmallows, and the mallow twists. Here are the finished Easter pops:
