Christmas Traditions with my Baby

December 16, 2014 2 Comments Holly & Nat

This is a sponsored post written on behalf of Happy Family Products. All opinions are 100% mine.

It is so much fun to experience the magic of Christmas through my childrens’ eyes. The older kids are excited to decorate the tree, see Santa, sing carols, and dance in our Christmas socks in the living room (one of our favorite traditions!) This year, we all get to watch our baby girl experience the holidays for the first time, since she was just a newborn last year. Here are some of the simple traditions that she has had fun taking part in.

Ivie Christmas ornament
The Christmas tree! One of her favorite things to do is grab all of the lowest hanging ornaments off the tree. Luckily, we have these soft fuzzy snowball ornaments that are baby-friendly!

Ivie opening Christmas book
Another tradition we have included her in this year is our nightly opening of a Christmas book. She loves tearing at the wrapping paper and then looking through the pages of the story before we read it together.

Last week, we received a special package in the mail from grandma and grandpa with these singing carolers! They dance and sing together in harmony when you push the buttons on their hands. Ivie is in heaven when they are playing! She dances right along with them and it’s the cutest thing I’ve ever seen!

All that dancing can be hard work for a baby, so I always have some healthy snacks handy for her when we are playing together at home. My favorite go-to snacks recently have been the Happy Baby products:

Ivie eating snacks
The Happy Baby products are made by Happy Family, a company founded and run by moms of young kids, just like us! I feel great knowing that I’m feeding my baby girl premium organic products, with the things she needs as she is growing… like DHA, probiotics and lots of veggies (which otherwise she won’t touch!) Visit the Happy Family website to learn about organic baby and toddler food

It’s especially nice to have the convenience of on-the-go healthy snacks when we make our daily run to Target. Seriously, I think I have been there every day this week!

It seems like I get coupons pretty often for the Happy Baby products at Target, but even without them, the prices are totally affordable and the convenience is so worth it for me as a mom of four! Right now, you can Enjoy a $1 off coupon for Happy Family baby food pouches here.

They are also doing a fun holiday giveaway every day in December, so make sure to Join Happy Family on Facebook and enter to win during December’s #TistheSqueezin giveaways!
