Some of you may already be out of school for the summer, but my kids still have 2 weeks left! If you are looking for a last-minute teacher gift to give at the end of the year, we have a perfect solution. The best part? Everything we used to make these yummy gifts can be found at the grocery store. Our “Caramel Apples to Go” are always a big hit with everyone!
- apples (small size)
- single-serve caramel dip (found right next to the apples!)
- candy bar for topping (optional)
- wide-mouth quart jar
I was pretty excited when I found I could fit two apples in my little jar! This is why you must get the wide-mouth jars.
The snack size container of caramel fits in there perfectly, too! The candy bar can be crumbled up on top of the dip for an extra treat.
Don’t worry, we’re not leaving you without a cute printable tag! You can print the PDF of 4 tags (found HERE) or right-click to save this image (already sized at 4×6 inches) and print at your local photo printer.
If you don’t have a punch, you can cut the circle out by hand – even if it’s crooked – because it will be hidden by the lid’s ring once you tighten it. I decided not to glue the tag to the lid, in case they want to reuse the jar.
You can also punch it out with a 3″ punch and tie it to the jar with twine or ribbon. I love using flattened cupcake liners to decorate the lids of jars! It’s an easy alternative to cutting out paper or fabric.

Oh my what a fab idea! I don’t have any kids, so no teachers to give to, but I sure do have a lot of friends who would like this! x
This is so cute and I had no idea you could fit so many things in a little jar. I’m definitely trying this out soon!
I love this idea! You girls are fabulous.
