Summer may be wrapping up, but there are still plenty of warm nights left to enjoy delicious S’mores right in your own backyard! This backyard S’mores station is perfect for a neighborhood get-together or just a weeknight treat!
Everyone knows the basic ingredients of a good S’more : chocolate, marshmallow, and graham cracker. The key to making this special is all in the presentation! I got this galvanized tiered tray from Pick Your Plum, added some gingham fabric and simple chalkboard tags!
These were 2015 Graduation clips from the Target Dollar Spotthat I simply painted with several coats of chalkboard paint.
A few weeks ago we had our neighbors and good friends over to enjoy some S’mores (cooked over our grill!) and had a great time trying new combinations. It’s all about the different kinds of chocolate, so we tried Reese’s PB cups, Ghiradelli Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramel and Extra Dark.
If you haven’t tried Toasted Coconut marshmallows, you might need to change that! They are divine and melt perfectly. We also tried Ritz crackers and the salty/sweet combo was to die for. Seriously.
Here are some of our favorite S’mores combos:
graham cracker + Hershey’s + Toasted Coconut marshmallow
Ritz cracker + Sea Salt Caramel chocolate + Stacker mallow
graham cracker + Reese’s PB cup + Stacker mallow
Don’t want to heat up the grill? 5-7 seconds in microwave works wonders on a yummy marshmallow!
