Baby Gift + Printable Tags {Favorite Things}

April 1, 2013 26 Comments Holly & Nat

A few weeks ago, my closest cousin, who is pregnant with her first, came home from Kansas for her baby shower. It was so fun to see her and let’s face it – baby showers for girls are SO fun. All you hear the whole time presents are being opened is, “CUUUUUUTE!!!” I love it.

Going with the “Favorite Things” idea we’ve done in the past, I wanted to make a Baby version – all the things that I have loved for my kids. As a new mom, I always appreciated other moms telling me what worked/didn’t for them. I’m talking brands and stuff. Not parenting advice. 😉
Keep reading to get the free printable tags + see my “favorite things” for Baby!

Favorite Jammies: Carters sleepers from Costco (bought in a bigger size for this winter.)
Favorite Smell: Johnson’s Lavender baby lotion
Favorite Toy: teether you can put in the fridge
Favorite Lifesaver….

gas drops! These saved us with our first!
I also added one of my favorite books (love Karen Katz), nail clippers
and a little “up-all-night” snack for Mom.
I used a 2.5 inch circle punch, or you could cut the tags by hand.
There are 2 pages of tags, including some blanks so you can fill in your own favorite baby item!
Download the pink printable tags HERE.
Get a boy-friendly turquoise version HERE.

And…I’m dying to know – are you doing any fun April Fool’s tricks today?
I usually LOVE this holiday and I totally forgot with Easter being yesterday.
I better whip somethin’ up!

I’m sure she loved it! My cousin did a similar present for me and it was a huge lifesaver. Things I never heard of or didn’t realize I couldn’t live with out. The tag is too cute thank you for sharing.

I love this! I just put together a similar gift for my sister. We traveled from Kansas to New Orleans for her baby shower! We used a brown kraft bag tied with bakers twine and some cute baby subway art to decorate the bag, “brown paper packages tied up with string these are a few of my favorite baby things”. I will definitely use these tags for future baby gifts. I love being able to share my favorite things with new moms! Thanks so much for sharing the printables!

I love this idea and happen to have a baby shower that I will be attending soon for a baby girl! When I click on the links for the tags, both are blue. Am I doing something wrong?

I love these tags! You have officially inspired my shower gift for this weekend (and saved my sanity) I found this post through Pinterest; I’m glad I did…I will definitely be back. What is the name of the cursive font you used? I really like that it is simple yet easily read. Thanks!

So cute! Thanks for sharing the printables. The best part of giving baby gifts is sharing things you’ve found and love yourself. I also love getting carter’s pajamas at Costco 🙂 Such a cute idea.

Gifts that can also bring a lot of joy to the parents of the baby. Many gift ideas are just presents directed towards the baby’s well being.
    Thanks.

This is because you cannot expect that the baby will respond by a thank you. Therefore, the best gifts that are delivered should be geared towards benefiting the parent.
