Once a month we’ll be sharing 5 things we are currently obsessed with. (If you missed Nat’s favorites, you can find them here.) So it’s my turn to share some of my latest obsessions with you guys!
Seriously Y’all. I love this show. I started watching it for Connie Britton, because I adored her in Friday Night Lights. She does not disappoint in this role! So many great characters in this series… I love Deacon, and even Juliette has grown on me! The music is pretty amazing too. Seasons 1 & 2 are on Hulu Plus so you can catch up if you aren’t already watching every Wed. night!
I want these boots for my birthday. (Unfortunately, my husband probably won’t read this!)
Aren’t they beautiful? If you didn’t know, I live in an icy cold tundra know as Idaho. And I’m not the most graceful person you’ll ever meet. So I feel like these boots are a necessity for me to survive this winter. They come in black too. Just sayin’.
I have recently discovered this Etsy shop where you can get amazing one-of-a-kind pieces of custom jewelry. Hand-stamped necklaces, rings, keepsakes, and more. My absolute FAVES are these antique spoon rings and necklaces. And I just happen to be new BFFs with the shop owner, Tiffany.
I met her during my “Beauty and the Beast” adventure and she is hilarious. You know how sometimes you meet people and you’re instafriends? That was pretty much us. She makes such beautiful jewelry for great prices. Think Christmas gifts for girlfriends, sisters and moms… you will not be disappointed.
And because she is just cool like that, she’s giving you guys 20% off your order with the coupon code SISTERS20
I’m passing a pretty big milestone today… I’m moving BEYOND the mid-thirty mark. As of today, I’m officially 36.
Seriously, when did this happen? I feel like I’m on a downward slope to 40 and I just strapped my roller-blades on. So to cope with my old age, I’ve finally started wearing big girl makeup. I had never used a highlighter before, and I was recommended this one by several people. It’s the Benefit Cosmetics Watt’s Up! Highlighter, and it’s a cream-to-powder finish that works really well with my dry skin. The color is a champagne, and it gives my skin a nice, luminous sheen in all the right places! It makes me feel younger and that’s enough for me.
Frozen Hot Chocolate from DQ
This isn’t a new discovery, just an old favorite of mine. It’s weird that I like to get these in the winter because you’d think that I’d prefer regular hot chocolate when it’s 3 degrees outside. But these are so delicious! I enjoy them in the comfort of my heated car, or in front of my fireplace at home. Mmmmmmm…
Happy weekend everyone!
