What do you think of when it's time to go back to school? Backpacks, books, new clothes, pencils, crayons, and...apples. Right? Apples for the teacher? Here's a little take on the most classic teacher gift - a teacher gift basket full of "Apples" to give on the first day of school or anytime you really want to make someone's day.
Let's get real here. You know how everyone disses on Wal-Mart? Well, it's the only "big store" we have here ( + JoAnn, thank goodness.) So I'm one of those Wal-Mart people now I guess! The point is, everything I used for this gift came from the Big W...even this cute wire basket!
I went on a hunt for anything Apple-y (is that a word?) or red to go in my basket. Here is what I included: apple hand soap, Cran-Apple juice, red Post-Its, red pens (teachers always need red pens!), BHG wax melts, green apple Chapstick, hand sanitizer, and wait for it.... an apple!
Stick it all together in a bag, basket or box and attach the printable tag.
You could also do a smaller gift with Apple-flavored treats - like these yummy Caramel Apple Pie cookies!
(Have I said Apple too many times already?)

I'm pretty sure no teacher will turn down some snacks for their emergency stash!
