DCWV is the brand that makes this gorgeous pack of Chalkboard paper. It contains several different colors of nice, thick paper that seems to have a little coating of some sort. You can write on it with regular 'ol chalk and erase with a baby wipe!
To make this super easy banner you will need:
- Chalkboard Paper Pack (I used 3 - 12x12 sheets for this project)
- scissors
- twine, ribbon, string, etc.
- chalk
I printed a few templates of banner shapes I liked (they were each a little different) and just used those as templates to cut out my 12 banner pieces. Yeah, we're the only bloggers in the world that don't own a Silhouette...so if you do - imagine the fun things you could cut with this paper!
I cut small slits with my paper trimmer on each side of the pieces, towards the top, to string the twine through. You could use a hole punch, but I wanted to make sure the pieces weren't sliding around and this worked really well.
String up your pieces and you're ready to spell out any message you want!
Hello, cute reusable banner!
I decided to do a little LOVE theme for my shelf. Yup, I have no mantel. It's blogger blasphemy.
Love that cute print? It's from the Caravan Shoppe!

Such a cute idea! I had no idea there was such a thing as chalkboard paper (don't judge me lol), but now that I have, this could be a good idea for a future decor project. And it's so cool that you can write anything on it!
