Wonderful Weekend & Conference Printables

Holly and I had a wonderful weekend - we got to spend a lot of it together! She was visiting for a few days and it was so fun (especially for the kids) to be together.

It was also a special time as we had the opportunity to watch and listen to General Conference. We're Mormons. Did we mention that? In other words, we are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Every six months the leaders of our church hold a General Conference. It is a time when the Prophet and other leaders of the LDS Church give counsel and guidance. One of our favorite messages was from Ann M. Dibb, a member of the Young Women general presidency.

Another favorite message was from President Thomas S. Monson, the Prophet and President of the LDS Church. I love how positive and uplifting his thoughts always are! And I believe what he says is true.

The audio/video of all the sessions of conference are available here. I love to put the talks on my iPhone so I can watch of listen to them when I have a few minutes.

And just a quick shout-out to my amazing sister. She drove long, long hours with 3 small kids all by herself so that she could visit. She's pretty much SuperMom! Love you, my Sis!
