To find out what paint chips I used and how I did it, keep reading...
Here's what you'll need:
- Paint chips {I used Behr #300B from Home Depot}
- Paper trimmer
- ribbon
- glue
1. Start by trimming the printed words off the end of your paint chip
2. Then trim the other side so that your paint chip is 3.5 inches wide.
3. Mark the center {1.75 inches}. This will be the bottom point of your candy corn.
4. Start at the top corner and trim down to the center point you just marked. Do the same on the other side.
This is what you'll end up with:
I used 6 paint chips to create my banner, and glued them on to the back of the ribbon with Elmer's glue.
Here is the finished product!
I added some spider embellishments to make it a little more spooky :)
{Oh, and check out these other paint chip projects:}
Hope you all have a great weekend!

ReplyDeletegreat idea!! the banner is really striking :)
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable! I love that the ombre effect is already done for you. I think the white space between each paint colour really finishes it off. Behr paint chips are always my go-to when I make paint chip projects (and I've shared a few!). Great size, quality and colour selection.
