Party With Us at SNAP!

Are you a child of the eighties? We both are :) Here's how we're feeling about leaving for SNAP! in less than a week.... "We're so excited, we're so excited, we're so.... scared!!!"

But seriously, we're so excited to be going to our first blogging conference TOGETHER and to meet some of our favorite bloggers and new friends :) We want to make a good impression, so we thought, hey-- let's break out the acid wash jeans, leg warmers, and neon scrunchies! We don't take ourselves too seriously, so we've decided to get {foot}loose, let our {big-banged} hair down, and rock our best 80s looks at the Closing Party at SNAP next week! Are you with us???

You know you want an excuse to wear two different colors of socks, anything fluorescent (which BTW, must be coming back into style because I've seen it in all the stores this spring!) and see if your hair can still do this:

Remember these totally 80s accessories? I may have had a banana clip or twelve two back in the day :)

Oh, the memories :) Soooo, all our fellow SNAP attendees.... are you in?? The closing party is sounding pretty amazing {DJ, lights, lots of dance party goodness}... so how could you NOT want to make it even more FUN?

Spread the word to your SNAP friends and wear your most radical 80s threads Saturday night. We'll even be passing out some of these awesome jelly bracelets to everyone who dresses up:

Grab a button and share the 80s love:

What is your favorite 80s fashion trend?

{We'll be back this afternoon with an easy washi tape fashion idea!}

  1. hahaha oh PLEASE post pictures afterwards!! I want to see you guys in all your 80's glory!! I used to loooove those t-shirt rings (don't remember what they're actually called) but I had tons and felt like the coolest person ever when I wore them. Ditto when I'd wear multiple scrunchiis. I was telling my husband the other day about those big hair clips that make your hair look like a mohawk...and my hair is so thin that it always look ridiculous, but still, I thought I was cool. Oh the memories....Wish I was going to SNAP- I'd love an excuse to dress like this again!

  2. I'd totally rock out 80's style with you, but we literally are finishing the conference then heading to the airport and taking a red eye home. How funny it would be to see two gals rocking an 80's outfit at 1 a.m. on a red eye home :) LOL

    At least I'll be able to pick you out from the crowd that night! Can't wait to {hopefully} meet you!!!!

  3. Hahaha! I'm cracking up at the Saved by the Bell clip you linked. I'm so EXCITED!!! and scared too, just like our Jessie.

    If only I had a banana clip handy, my hair looked so good in those! I don't know if I have anything else to bust out, but I will certainly rat my hair for you. Does that get a jelly bracelet? Okay, I'll try harder...

    I hope to meet you guys there!!!

  4. I do love the 80's. I was to young to remember much of it but I still love it all. Wish I could go, but I would love to see pictures after you go. I think you have a wonderful blog, I'm now following you on GFC and Linky. I would like to invite you to stop by my blog and share this at my Party the Sunday Round UP. @ http://www.arosiesweethome.com/
    Thanks
