In our family, we have a long-running tradition when it comes to St. Patrick's Day. And that is, green pancakes. Green milk. Basically adding a little green food coloring to anything we can get our hands on! So when we saw that St. Patty's was on a Saturday this year, we knew it was an easy excuse for a full-out "Top O' the Mornin" Breakfast par-tay!
Here's a little invitation you can customize and give to a few of your luckiest friends. {Or your kids the night before the big day.}
We've also included a PDF that you can print and hand-write the information on.
What really makes this breakfast fun {for the kids especially} are these printable tags to go with all the pancake toppings and other delicious breakfast foods. The tags can be left as squares, or punched with a 3" punch. {We know you eighteen25 followers have one of those!} You can use a smaller punch if you have one, too - you just won't see as much of the green background. Tie them on, attach to a skewer, wrap around a bottle...get creative!
This is how we used our tags:
And here is the list of ingredients to match-up with the tags:
- St. Patty's Pancakes - green pancakes
- Shamrock Syrup - maple syrup
- Pinch-proof Potion - green milk
- Clouds in a bottle - whipped cream (in a can)
- Chocolate O' Hersheys - chocolate syrup
- Magic clover dust - powdered sugar or green sprinkles
- Lucky leprachaun teeth - white chocolate chips
- Lucky Charms - Lucky Charms cereal
- Pot O' Gold eggs - scrambled eggs
- Rainbow on a stick - fruit kabobs
{And don't forget to wear green!}
