Hello, Hot Lips!

We have shared a lot of Valentine's Day ideas with you over the past few weeks, but we have one more {with less than 24 hours left!}

One of my very favorite treats {which Nat introduced me to} are chocolate-covered cinnamon bears.... have you tried them?? To. die. for. So last week when I found some cinnamon lips at the store, I knew I had to re-create the yumminess with a Valentine's Day spin. I present to you: chocolate-covered "hot lips" :)

My kids had a great time helping me "dip the lips" and a few other goodies, including some heart-shaped marshmellows and mini oreos. We started out with all the treats, and a package of chocolate candy coating (the kind that comes in a convenient microwave tray!)

We used toothpicks to spear everything and dipped it in the ooey, gooey chocolate. Then we let our goodies cool on a sheet of wax paper.

I strategically placed the toothpicks in the lips so we could hold them up and make some silly faces after we were done :)

I mixed in some of the regular lips with the chocolate-covered ones, and packaged them up in a cute little bag, tied with my new red & white baker's twine :) Love!

It isn't quite complete without the sassy tag :)
